Here are some important points relating to camping at the North West Festival.
• There will be a dedicated camp ground for tents (you can park your vehicle beside your tent), and a separate area for campervans and caravans.
• Camping is free if you have purchased a GA + Camping, VIP + Camping or Under 18 + Camping ticket.
• Camping is prohibited unless you have purchased a valid camping ticket. You will NOT be able to swap your non-camping ticket for a camping ticket at the festival.
• The camp grounds open at 10.00am on Saturday 24th August. Please do not arrive early as you will be turned away.
• FOR SAFETY REASONS, CAMPERS WILL NOT BE ABLE TO MOVE THEIR VEHICLES, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, FROM THE CAMP GROUNDS UNTIL 6AM ON SUNDAY 25TH AUGUST.
• THERE ARE NO PASSOUTS FROM THE FESTIVAL. THIS MEANS CAMPERS ARE NOT PERMITTED TO MOVE BETWEEN THE CAMPGROUNDS AND THE FESTIVAL DURING HOURS OF THE FESTIVAL (12pm – midnight). SO MAKE SURE YOU BRING EVERYTHING WITH YOU INTO THE FESTIVAL THAT YOU WILL NEED FOR THE DAY.
• Please follow the signs to the entry gates.
• Bringing alcohol into the campgrounds (or the festival) is STRICTLY PROHIBITED. Security and event staff will be patrolling the campgrounds, and any alcohol found will be confiscated.
• Police sniffer dogs may be in operation.
• Camping sites are allocated upon arrival at the sole discretion of North West Festival staff. Ticket-holders cannot choose their own site.
• If you intend to camp alongside friends you MUST arrive together – NO EXCEPTIONS. Sites cannot be reserved for later arrivals.
• Neither the Town of Port Hedland nor the festival organiser shall be held liable for any theft or loss of personal belongings from the campgrounds. Please ensure that you don’t leave any valuables at your campsite.
• There is absolutely no camping or sleeping in your vehicles (this includes utes, camper vans and caravans) around the festival site /outside of the camping area. You may receive a large fine from the local rangers.
• There is a TOTAL FIRE BAN. Fires, including camp stoves, are not permitted in the camp grounds.
• Cooking equipment, alcohol, animals, glass, illegal substances or anything that could be used as a weapon are not permitted in the camp grounds.
• Keep the campgrounds clean. Please put your rubbish in the bins provided.
