Ticketing Terms and Conditions

Patrons agree to the following terms and conditions of ticket purchase and entry to the festival.

•18+ Event. Valid photo ID (current Australian driver’s licence, passport or Western Australian proof of age card) is required for ALL 18+ patrons for entry into the festival. An international driver’s license is NOT a valid form of ID.

•Patrons under 18 will only be permitted if they have a valid Under18 Ticket and are accompanied at ALL times by their parent.  All parents will be required to complete a Family Welfare Registration Form before entering the festival site.  Older siblings are not suitable guardians for under 18s.

NO PASSOUTS from the festival arena. This means campers are not permitted to move between the campgrounds and the festival during the hours of the festival (12 noon – 12 midnight).  So make sure you bring everything with you into the festival that you will need for the day.

• Camping is prohibited unless you have purchased a valid camping ticket. You will NOT be able to swap your non-camping ticket for a camping ticket at the festival.

• A camping ticket will give you access to the camp grounds from 10AM on Saturday 24th August 2013. You may NOT MOVE YOUR VEHICLE from the camp grounds UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES until sunrise (6AM) the following morning, Sunday 25th August 2013.

• There is absolutely no camping or sleeping in your vehicles (this includes utes, campervans and caravans) around the festival site / outside of the camping area.  . You may receive a large fine from the local rangers.

• SEALED plastic water and soft drink bottles or cans are permitted.

• Alcohol, animals, glass, illegal substances, chairs, umbrellas or anything that could be used as a weapon are not permitted.

• All bags will be inspected on entry into the festival by our friendly security staff.

• No professional cameras, video cameras or tape recorders allowed (small cameras are allowed). Angel to update with revised blurb

• There is a TOTAL FIRE BAN – fires (of any kind), flares, fireworks are not permitted.

• Excessive drinkers, illegal drug users or patrons displaying antisocial behaviour will be evicted and dealt with by Police.

• Wristbands are not transferable and must be worn at all times. Wristbands will not be replaced if lost.

• Camping sites are allocated upon arrival at the sole discretion of North West Festival staff. Ticket-holders cannot choose their own site.

• Fires, cooking equipment, alcohol, animals, glass, illegal substances or anything that could be used as a weapon are not permitted in the camp grounds. There will be food stalls inside the event, and breakfast stalls for the following morning.

• Activities such as moshing, crowd surfing, climbing and stage diving are dangerous and may lead to eviction from the festival. Neither the Town of Port Hedland nor the festival organiser accept any liability for any injuries or damages caused by these activities.

• Any person bearing or wearing Motor Cycle Gang colours, patches or insignias are not permitted entry to the festival.

• Management reserves the right to refuse entry for any reason at its sole discretion.

• Please don’t drink and drive. Police may be breathalysing after the festival so, beware!

• Tickets are not refundable under any circumstances except if the entire festival is cancelled which is at Sunset Events’ sole discretion.

• Tickets may not, without the prior written consent of Sunset Events, be resold or offered for resale at a premium (including via on-line auction sites) or used for advertising, promotion or other commercial purposes (including competitions and trade promotions) or to enhance the demand for other goods or services, either by the original purchaser or any subsequent bearer. If a ticket is sold or used in breach of this condition, the ticket may be cancelled without a refund and the bearer of the ticket may be refused admission. SCALPER WARNING: The resale of tickets in certain circumstances is governed by ticket sales legislation and may attract criminal penalties.

• We play rain or shine. Cancellations due to weather will occur only in the event of dangerous conditions and will be at the festival organiser’s sole discretion.

• The right is reserved to vary, to add, withdraw or substitute artists where necessary – No refunds available in the event of a line-up change.

• No warranty is given nor representation made regarding the view of the stages.

• Persons attending the festival do so at their own risk.

• Neither the Town of Port Hedland nor the festival organiser shall be held liable for any loss, injury or damages sustained entering or on the site, including theft or loss of personal belongings.

• Keep the festival site clean. Put your rubbish in the bins provided.

• Please respect the neighbours by arriving and leaving quietly.
